Hi there! We're a husband and wife creative team based out of Northern California. In 2007 upon our arrival to beautiful San Francisco, we decided to collaborate on a letterpress print to send out to our friends and families announcing our move out west. We had so much fun with it that soon after we decided to found Lab Partners, a studio where we could experiment together and explore what we love. Our office is located in the Union Square neighborhood where we've had the pleasure of working with some amazing clients on a variety of projects. We believe the best work is a combination of imaginative storytelling, a strong sense of craft, and a good dose of color magic.

Originally hailing from Connecticut where she grew up dreaming about being a Zoologist/Disney animator, Sarah has previously worked as a designer at Berkeley agency Tomorrow Partners and letterpress stationer Hello!Lucky. When not jamming on work for LP, she loves laying out in the sun with a good book and her feline companions.
Born in Tokyo, Japan, Ryan grew up around the world enjoying time in Germany, Hawaii and Texas among other places. Prior to founding Lab Partners, he worked at Hatch design in San Francisco and then as an art director at ad agency Goodby, Silverstein & Partners. Along with running Lab Partners, Ryan leads a new creative studio called Stout. If he has spare time Ryan tries to get out and play soccer or bake something (and then promptly eat it.)

All orders are packaged with care in our studio and shipped within 2-3 business days of order confirmation. US orders are shipped using Priority Mail. Shipping costs (as well as sales tax for California residents) are calculated at checkout.
All International orders are shipped via First Class Air Mail. International buyers are responsible for any applicable customs and taxes. If you would like to pay for rush shipping on an order, please feel free to email us at shop@lp-sf.com and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.
